Llorenç del Penedès

In the heart of the plane in Baix Penedès, there’s one of the most beloved towns by people from the region, Llorenç del Penedès. Its first reference is from the 8th century A.D.
This town is a meeting place for people from the whole region, and it has two organizations, La Cumprativa and El Centre, which ensures that residents from Llorenç always have interesting
activities in which people can participate. La Cumprativa, moreover, has other entities, like els gegants i grallers, el drac or el ball de diables, and El Centre has some groups, like els falcons, el ball
de bastons or the theatre group. Els Castells are one of the basic elements from local culture, and although there isn’t an own colla, the night from 9th to 10th August, there are a lot of locals who make them. Furthermore, Llorenç has some heritage elements, like the Church or the Castle; and its Festa Major is the 1st Sunday after 10th August
