Sant Jordi's Day in Cunit

Sant Jordi is celebrated in Catalonia on Wednesday, April 23.
In Cunit you can find different activities for Sant Jordi's Day, which will take place over the next few days.
On Sunday, April 21, the planting and 'cercavila' will take place with the participation of different folkloric groups from the municipality.
10:00h - Exhibition of the local bestiary with the 'Drac i Draga', the 'water' and 'fire' giants and the 'Cuca Espurna' and 'Drako'.
11:00 a.m. - Giants dance, by the children's group of the association 'Tocats pel foc'. Then, there are popular dances starting in Plaza del Casal and ending in Plaza Santiago Russinyol, organized by the 'Associació de Balls Populars de Cunit', accompanied by traditional catalan flutes.
11:45am - 'Diables Cercavila' starting in Plaza del Casal and ending in Plaza Santiago Russinyol, led by the children's members of the 'Joves Diables' of Cunit.
12:00h - Sardana (popular dance) with the Catania band and with the collaboration of the 'Agrupació sardanista de Cunit'.
